UCLA WINMEC CIO Impacts Forum
CIOs from Fortune 500 companies are being invited to present how Mobility and Security are impacting their business needs today. In today’s age, mobility of employees, executives, customers, partners, suppliers, assets, products/services, etc. is a key function that I.T. needs to provide. However, with mobility comes the critical challenge of security. The CIO Forum will provide a comprehensive overview of business and technology issues in today’s enterprise functions and how they are impacted by Mobility and Security. Issues of importance that will be discussed include the emerging impact of the CIO on the company’s techno-business strategies involving mobility, wireless infrastructure, process simplification, regulations and mandates, digital rights management, security technology and solutions, supply chain/RFID, customer privacy, shifts in security governance, federal and state mandates, etc. CIOs from the following industry segments are being invited to our 2006 CIO Impacts Forum - Entertainment/Media, Telecommunications/Wireless, Aerospace and Automotive Manufacturing, Defense/Homeland Security, Banking/Finance/Insurance, Retail, Medical/Pharmaceuticals, Logistics/Shipping and Technology/Software/Services. This is the third in a series of thought leadership CIO Forums organized at UCLA.
