Detecon Discusses New RFID-based Approaches to Customer Relationship Management
SAN MATEO, CA - Detecon, Inc. today announced that it participated in a leading international technology forum to discuss RFID and Customer Relationship Management. The session, entitled Wireless RFID Networks for Real-Time Customer Relationship Management was presented by Philipp Schloter, Senior Consultant for Strategy and Innovation Advisory at Detecon, Inc.
The presentation was based on Schloter’s patent-pending work with Professor Hamid Aghajan at Stanford University’s Wireless Sensor Networks Lab, one of the most prestigious research facilities in the world. RFID combined with CRM and Wireless Networks can help businesses better understand what customers do while inside a sales environment. Such solutions benefit retailers, exhibitors, media companies as well as the wireless service providers who serve those sectors.
The 2005 International Conference on Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing was held in Nagasaki, Japan from December 5-7, 2005.
