TAPPI Seeks RFID Speakers
TAPPI is seeking qualified speakers to deliver educational presentations at its first RFID Symposium, which will be held June 7-8, 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Designed in partnership with RFID4U, a leading provider of radio frequency identification learning solutions, the symposium will offer opportunities for professionals in the paper and converting industries to learn about the latest in cutting edge RFID technology.
Prospective speakers are invited to submit a session proposal. Ideal speaker candidates are end users, industry analysts or consultants, or solution providers with expertise in RFID/EPC applications or infrastructure who can address the RFID-related issues specific to the pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries. All sessions in the RFID Symposium are educational in nature and cannot be used to sell or market a vendor product. Presentations should fall under one of the following presentation types: Case Study/Real-Life Example, Benchmark or Industry Study, Panel Discussion, or Lecture.
Speaker proposals for the 2006 RFID Symposium will be evaluated in terms of relevance to the pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries, educational content, originality of presentation, and speaker knowledge and experience. Speakers will not be compensated for presenting but will receive a complimentary admission to the conference.
All speaker proposals should be submitted electronically via email at tappi@rfid4u.com. Completed proposals are due no later than February 17, 2006. For more information, contact Susan Rawlins at TAPPI at 770-209-7289 or Sanjiv Dua at RFID4U at 866-400-RFID (toll free).
