VTech Selects Cisco And Intel For RFID Solution
VTech has selected Cisco Systems and Intel Corporation’s RFID solution for complying with Wal-Mart’s new technology directive. VTech is of the opinion that the agreement would not only allow it to comply with the Wal-Mart directive but also improve the efficiency of the warehouse operations and management and would also serve to enhance visibility throughout the supply chain.
In order to get the most of the technology, Wal-Mart has directed all of its business partners and suppliers to upgrade their supply chains with RFID technology in order to track products from manufacture to shelve space.
