RFID and Metals – The long fought battle
Bassett, the industrial supply distributor has deployed an EPC Gen 2 system. The system enables the manufacturers to cut down the costs and also aids in improving the record keeping process. Bassett provides tools like safety gears, band-saw blades, cutting tools and abrasives. The RFID system installed helps the customers to keep track tools and supplied during the production process.
The use of the system will enable the manufacturer to keep track of the inventory and reduce the amount of inventory at hand. The system will also keep a track of the usage of the products, which employee is using which product.
