Well humans will not like things in their vicinity to be as intelligent but the idea of smart refrigerators does not sound a bad one. Will you like to get an SMS stating which peanut butter you should not buy, whether the milk in the refrigerator is out of date or not and there is a need for a new carton?
This no science fiction, Innovation Lab’s Kim Otto has made this possible. The prototype of a smart refrigerator by Siemens can make all kinds of judgments for products that are tagged with RFID. The fridge is connected to the internet so you can get emails or text messages to remind you what is going out of stock.
